A non profit organization that helps Haitian children’s.
ABOUT THE FONDATION
EDROSA is the initiative of one Haitian woman, Ms. Bertrande Lewis in honor of her late brother Ed and mother Rosa, whose legacies of helping others and giving back to their community lives on and whose dream was to help Haitian children.
This initiative focuses on helping existing schools in Haiti with needs. The foundation receives its funding through friends, co-workers, family members and those who are concerned about children’s needs in Haiti. Our supporters are non-members and donors who vow to give an annual contribution or monthly donation. We receive donations from as little as $5. All donations serve to buy school supplies and other critical needs for schools and their students.
EDROSA’s goal is to obtain funding, donations and resources to help provide hot meals to children at school. We also want to continue to distribute school supplies each year one school at the time. Two of the schools we visited this year need classroom floor remodeling, a huge fan, a few computers, a generator, some office supplies and chairs (benches are all broken). EDROSA’s goal is to reach 20-30 schools and distribute school supplies to 10,000 children in the next 10 years.

WHAT WE DO
Giving food
We help provide hot meals to children attending school so that they don’t start the day on an empty stomach.
Giving school supplies
In march 2019, EDROSA distributed school supplies to 400 children in 5 different schools in Haiti.
Giving monetary gifts to schools.
We distribute donations received to schools, so that they can satisfy classroom needs.
Giving clothing and shoes.
Many students in Haiti have to walk several miles to reach their schools every morning. Wearing proper apparel encourages them to go the distance.
LET’S INVOLVE
Without our generous donators, we wouldn’t be able to help children. Thank You!
